The latest version of the time-tested Fleck 5600, the 5600 SXT gives users the benefit of unique diagnostic and programming features that were previously unavailable. An important new feature is the onboard capacitor, which helps maintain the correct time during a power outage of up to 48 hours! You can also program the self–regeneration of individual systems to maximize efficiency and keep water use to a minimum. In addition, the system keeps time electronically, so the drive motor only runs during the regeneration process, which minimizes the possibility of motor fire and runs more stably. The 5600 SXT electronic demand meter system can cut salt and water use by up to 40%! Unlike timer–based systems, demand meter systems only recover when needed.
